ElonTHON, affectionately known as THON, is Elon’s annual 24-hour Children's Miracle Network dance marathon. THON was created 11 years ago by a group of service-minded students to provide emotional and financial support to the patients and families of Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center. It has since grown into one of the nation's largest dance marathons, and an Elon tradition.
At THON, students can witness amazing live performances, hear stories from our Miracle Families, participate in games and contests, and dance the night away. The only rule? No sitting! We stand in solidarity For The Kids who continue to fight.
Last year, over 1,300 students participated, raising $212,728.20 and leaving their mark on Duke Children's Hospital and our beloved university.
